Outside of everything I listen to, primarily the band Joy Division is by far my favorite band of all time. So I am recommending a few things.
Ian Curtis' wife, Deborah, wrote a book called "Touching From a Distance."
Then, there is a movie based off of the book called "Control" which is directed by Anton Corbijn and is an amazing film.
Also, there is a Joy Division documentary which is extremely interesting and definitely gives an insight to what the band really aimed at and how they felt to Ian Curtis' death.
